Ive got the same problems that you.

I dont know how, exactly, the sound has suddenly stop wirking.

Ive tryed all things i could do, however i coud not fix it.

windows media player tells me theres a problem with the sound card, wich is a soundmax working on an asus p4s800.
so, please, i need some help here.

and by the way, does enybody know where can i get the corresponding drivers?? im using xp.

ive been to 'http://www.asus.com/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=P4S800&Type=All', i download the installation kit, i open it, but when its on the way to finnish, a popup says 'no drivers where found', demn it!

please i beg you, i want my sound back! crap!

I've spent weeks trying to diagnose the problem with my Audigy 2 sound card. I’ve taken it out and reinstalled it countless times. I’ve done the same with the software. I’ve played in the Registry (which scared the #!$$ out of me!), I did a clean sweep & I even reinstalled my XP. None of it worked or even changed any of my problems. I spent hour after hour reading the same regurgitated suggestions in the forms hoping to find some enlightened thread, And then I came across your post. A few quick clicks and my soundcard problems were gone. As they say, “With all things being equal, he correct explanation is often the simplest.”
