IE kicks me out of the browser when trying to search Yahoo or Google
Hi Gang
Got a strange problem. I have a client that brought in a notebook computer system running Windows ME with IE 6.0 He had removed a great deal of spyware and adware with Spybot and Adaware. Now when he clicks with the mouse in a search area (such as in Google of Yahoo) the machine kicks him out of the browser and back to the desktop.
I advised him to run the repair utility and revert back to his old browser. He said this brought no joy!
Anyone else ever see this problem and know how to correct it??
Thanks in advance!

Flabooble!
Is there an error of any sort?
Check for other installed items that integrate to IE and remove them?

Thanks for the quick response.
No error that I've seen. It just boots you out of the browser

Check to make sure that nothing's attached itself to the browser with BHO Demon. A great utility that's worked for me many times.
