    Barebone

    Hi

Win XP Pro + the rest

Ok got a customer wants a backup box.
Basically I want to backup files from his work pc (wireless) to another box.
    Autoscheduled.
Ok so he wants me to put a barebone system in.
    Assuming I get a MSI Mega 180 with a 120Gb HDD.

He considers it OK his children also use as a music/internet point.

Logically why not if I put in a partition. and the usual firewalls etc.

I know space is a issue - he is a head cutter and the whole study is full of mags on the subject. - Hi Ya!

Incidentally - what are the aerial plugs v Jack connectors (Dont RTFM) for FM?

so he wants a barebone system just to store files on? Why not just get a WD onetouch 120GB external disk drive. Does everything he wants and a WHOLE lot faster then over a wireless network.

Also what do you mean by aerial plugs v jack connectors for FM?

    Nope
The whole point is he want's to do both jobs. I see your point about a stand alone USB 2.0 Ext Drive.
The Fm aerial point on the back of the system is a jack plug! I would normally expect a co-axial plug in the UK. What do you fit in to the back 0f it?
