Need some help here
Ok, here is the dealio. I have an athlon xp 3000. Recently, my Biostar M7VIT Pro's BIOS died, or something. So, I got an ASUS A7V8X-X. I hooked it up, but when the comp starts, it finds new hardware...floopy drive....then after a few short seconds, restarts. What is goin on? I am thinking it is one of those over heating sensor things, but not completely sure. O, I am running Windowns XP Pro. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

XP Pro is not like 98. You can just change the hardware out from underneath it. Get your XP cd, run setup, all the way to where it asks which partition you want to install XP on and then take the repair existing installation option.

I'm surprised it's not bluescreening!
It is alway preferable to re-install WinXP from scratch if the motherboard or system drives are being replaced, but repairing the install has an excellent probability of working too.
