We can all agree on a tax on imported oil.

    Well here's one I didn't know.
Seems that in October 1986 a Senator "introduced legislation to create a new import tax that would have caused the price of oil, and ultimately the price of gasoline paid by drivers, to soar by billions of dollars per year."
You may need to register to see this page on the NY Times website, but it is free. See the story HERE!
Furthermore this Senator shortly after inttroducing this legislation said:
"Let us rid ourselves of the fiction that low oil prices are somehow good for the United States,"
Later this Senator explained his support for this tax by saying it would partly "assist us in reducing our budget deficit."

Now we all know this is John Kerry -Wrong
    It was Dick Cheney
and by the way the Bush ad claiming Kerry supports a 50 cent a gallon gas hike-well Kerry never introduced or voted for a gas tax increase of 50cents. However 10 years ago he did support a deficit reduction bill that included a 50 cent tax though he never voted for it.

It's the word "seems" that's the problem.

There's something about that man, every time he puts on that crooked smile of his, it's like his face is saying to the world "You can't trust me."

Funny every time Bush opens his mouth to tell me how "tax cuts create jobs" I feel I am being f***d.

Why don't you two just get a room? The amount of political crap here is just making my eyes hurt, and my ears bleed.

I think most people of average intelligence, weigh each candidates strengths, weaknesses, past performance, future promises, ( don't believe that means anything ) and makes a decision that they are comfortable with. Bashing candidates to try and change a person's mind, or degrading that person into voting for your candidate is childish and juvenile. Or better yet, fly over to Iraq and have a political conversation with a Sunni or Shiite.

    Stop the madness.
