I don't find very much that can be discussed to be offensive if anything at all. The only thing that bothers me is people sticking with some notion of what is acceptable to discuss.
I'm sure you've heard, "There's certain things you don't talk about" or "We don't air our dirty laundry..." and all of that jazz. It kind of bugs me that people will avoid an issue for no real reason other than they were told at one point that it was "Taboo". It's those people that get upset about a simple discussion that offend my sensibilities in general.
Personally I can deal with someone who thinks I'm an idiot or just dead wrong but not the person who says, "I just don't want to talk about that". As if they were so afraid that their ears or eyes would burn up should they partake in the subject matter.

Why do any of these things have to be offensive at all? Unless you're insecure about them.
Personally anyone who believes what they do enough that they try to influence others is interesting. I take it as an intellectual challenge, unless they're one of those freaks we used to have on campus with the sandwich boards calling everyone "whore-monger". Those people were a riot to make fun of.

The reason it's offensive is because he said "aggessively". I'm open for any discussion or debate but some people don't know when to let up.

Putting my name on the national do not call list was the best thing I ever did. I get a cold call once or twice a month. And all I tell them is "I am on the list!" then hang up. They never call back...

I did the national call list then I did 1 better - I got rid of my phone and just have a cell phone. Never get any telemarketers now - it's not legal for them to call you.

I think that if you truly believe in something, then you will tell others about it.
Of course, if you are too pushy about it, people have a good reason not to listen to you.

It's got to be all of the above for me, too.
I'm open for debate with anyone about more-or-less anything, but people who are agressive or insulting with their beliefs (you are going to die a horrible death because you don't belive XYZ are a prime candidate) really get up me nose.
I know that I've offended some people by simply saying "I'm an atheist," because they seem to think that it's some kind of personal affront to their religious convictions, but then I suppose you can't please everyone...

You know what I should have included in the above question...
"People aggressively trying to convert you to their OS platform"
Windows vs. Mac vs. Linux vs. the rest of them have produced some of the most passionate flamewars around...

Having all of these hot women hitting on me all of the time, it gets tiring trying to let them down easy all of the time.
