bought this thing, it doesn't come with drivers, and the website it says to go to doesn't have them either. Anyone know where I can download drivers that will work?

Welcome to windrivers Androdameia. I can't find any indication that GE actually sells cameras other than video surveillance. Could be made by someone else and just licensed to GE. Is there anything else written on the camera? A model # or FCC ID perhaps? Or post a link to the website you referred to.

The model number is HO98067. The website I was referred to was www.jascoproducts.com/minicam
I think I'lll just take the thing back. I wasn't expecting much, since its a cheapo cam, but I did at least expect to be able to make the thing work.

Must be new. Those weren't there when he posted the link.

I tried to install the drivers (again) from that link on 2 computers, and no luck.
When I installed directx 9.0c, all was well.
What a bad implementation of a device!

Correct. I was at DX version 9.0b (which you can determine by running dxdiag.exe)
I tried it on my laptop and my desktop, making sure to install the drivers before connecting the unit.
After the first failure, I removed the driver, rebooted, installed DX 9.0c, rebooted, installed the driver, plugged it in, and it worked on both computers.

The location of the driver downloads has changed to:
http://jascoproducts.com/support/sof...ads.asp#pccams
I've tried installing the driver that came on the CD with the webcam, and the driver from the website above, but it still doesn't work. I'm already running DirectX 9.0c, so don't think that is the problem for me.
Using WinXP on Dell Latitude D620 laptop.
