    Welcome to windrivers magician. When I googled the bios id you posted, I got hits for gigabyte and iwill as well as chaintech. What is the make and model board you need the update for? Also, what problem are you experiencing that you believe a bios update will solve? Most manufacturers stopped releasing updates for bx boards 3-4 years ago.

    Thank you but my only problem with that is that it says:
    Processor
    Dual Intel PentiumŪ II / III Processor 350MHz-550MHz (for 100MHz system Bus)


    and i have dual at [email protected] you think it is going to be ok?

    i do not know and i am not very keen to open the box to as it is loads of hussle...it used to be a server and it has all these little safeties and screws on screws.Can i check it on when it starts up and press DEL?..Thanx for your interest

    Thank you for yor warm welcome and help. i think we have been to the same web page as google returns only one page :-). i am trying to install win200o to our old terminal server dual PIII 600 with scsi(before you say anything i install the scsi drivers) and i get the message ASPI BIOS in this system is not fully compliant blah blah. And it say contact your BIOS supplier for an upgrade or a site which charges $49.99

    Just to let you know - sometimes defective memory stick can give the same error - at least, I have seen it few times... Try to test memory before upgrading the BIOS...
