install adapter?
My mother has been having a problem logging on to the net.
She has Windows 98
It say's:
E0115 the program failed to locate a suitable adapter to make a connection. If you are using a USB DSL modem, make sure the cable is plugged into your computer. It appears that you need to install an adapter into your computer. Refer to Windows Network Help Guide.
My mother only has one computer and she recently was able to use the net. I believe that problems started when the keyboard stopped working. It works now but she can't connect to the net.
If someone has insight into what could be wrong, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks,
Kathie

Welcome to windrivers Kathie. Does your mother in fact have a usb dsl modem? If so, what is the make and model? In device manager, are there any yellow ! or ? Which program is giving the error message? If you open the connection options in IE, what is listed?
Probability factor of one to one...we have normality, I repeat we have normality. Anything you still can't cope with is therefore your own problem.
