Symantec Ghost problem
Alright, these are my home computers. basically, i've been trying to create an image of my client to send to my server using Ghost 7.5. i've gone through the network boot wizard. when i try to add my network card drivers (netgear fa310TX), i load the NGRPCI.DOS file and create the boot disk. then I boot to the client, and it finds the Netgear, but then i get this message
Error 33 Unable to bind. I haven't been able to figure it out why its not binding. Am i using the wrong file when creating the boot disk? Or do I need additional files? Thanks for any help.
I think the problem is either an ID10T or PEBCAK error

are you using PC-DOS. I've not had the best luck using PC-DOS to map network drives and such..... I've had much better success using MS-DOS client.

think i'm using pcdos. whatever ghost uses when going through the network boot wizard to create a floppy. i know i could use a NIC thats listed, but i SHOULD be able to use my Netgear. maybe i don't have the right file. anyone used this method and had to add a NIC, like i'm trying to do?
I think the problem is either an ID10T or PEBCAK error

Your right it is your NIC Drivers that you are using. You will have to find the right drivers files for it. Let me tell you it is a pain in the a$$ to get the right ones loaded. I spent a whole day trying to find the right ones when I wanted to image my dell dervers here at work. We had to use the NDIS not the PACKET Drivers.

I make reference on another thread about ghost somewhere giving a link on how to make the boot disks ... so NDIS 1.2 btw
