Internet connection disconnects
Don't know what's going on. My internet connection keeps disconnecting for no apparent reason - although I know there must be a reason somewhere. Problem doesn't appear to have anything to do with my ISP since my daughter is using the same connection for her computer with no problem. It's a high speed dial up connection. I must have had to reconnect at least ten times in the past hour.

Sasser worm perhaps:

There is a downloadable fix there which will fit on a floppy, so have your daughter download it and bring it over.
Check your running tasks: ctl/alt/delete and see if avserve**** is running.
