I hear your pain. I don't even bounce them, think it just encourages them.

Let's them know the email address is valid.

That's one of the reasons I have my own domain. $70USD for 10 years for the domain and find your self a cheap host (around $50-100 USD a year) and you can steer clear of spam. Then either create a junk email account OR use a hotmail to sign up for all that other crap. I've only seen an increase in spam (like 10-12 pieces a week) since the virus attacks of last year selected my address as one of the "From:" addresses. Yeah but other then that I don' have a problem with spam. my 0.025

i had made a mistake with mailwasher pro , curt published his delete file somewhere else a few months ago , for us all to copy,
i had not got it set to hide and auto delete.
i just added the word "spam" in the title box , and the subject , and clicked it , i then got a lovely "farting noise" and 24 dissapeared.
just realised that this subject is "spam", so i won,t get an email notification !!!!!!!!!

You're telling me... I had my phone next to the bed and the ----ing thing went off to let me know I had received a text message at 3:30 this morning.
It's only just started happening with the phone, I bet those b-----ds at ATT Wireless have been selling my number.

There's only one solution for this: a shotgun blast to the face.
Well, maybe there are other, less drastic solutions, but would they be as effective?
