    Unhappy WinXP Home Stuck in Clasic Style

    it doesn't give me the option to select anything ells but the clasic Style in the Appearance Tab..

    This is a quick post i'll provide further info later today....

    ok the computer has allot of DCOM Errors something like the SID wasn't found.

    On my domain I force classic through group policy. If it is not a computer on a windows domain check gpedit.msc

    There's a whole load of reg tweaks available here as this is xp home there's no group policy editor, as xp home isn't supposed to join a domain, you need pro for that

    BUT here I'd be much more worried, for now, about this statement:-
    .. the computer has allot of DCOM Errors something like the SID wasn't found..
    Me ? I'd be off virus/trojan checking first
