firewall networking
hi everyone i have yet another question.
i was wondering if anyone has used this as a firewall yet http://www.smoothwall.org/
you pretty much turn your pc into a firewall, the firewall is an o/s linux i believe.
i do have a spare pc i wouldnt mind trying this. i was wondering if anyone else tried this yet and what they think of it.

I was using Red Hat and later on SME, but shortly I've switched to Smoothwall 2.

And give it a try!
As far as I can judge now: excellent router/firewall.
If you want to add files from your win pc use SSH and freeware like WinSCP3.
