    XP SOE build tips needed

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but it seems to sit astride a number of different subjects.
We are currently using a Win2k/Office 2k build (one for dell desktops and one for toshy laptops) and due to now being told we HAVE to buy dell laptops, we are creating a new build based on WinXP/Office XP.
As we are an engineering firm with users who hate paying for anything, we need to find a free viewer for cad drawings and a low cost corporate solution for creating pdf's (we have found free sw, but only for home use).
Any other suggestions for sw that you guys would include in an XP build would be gratefully received, plus anything that you would take out/disable would also be useful.

    cheers guys & gals

Welcome to Windrivers bezzer. All users hate to pay for anything. What cad format are you trying to view?

Edit: Here is a free pdf thread. The first one mentioned works pretty well.
