Unhappy Game Pad in W2K

I have a Radio Shack Game Pad Cat. #26-445 Really a Saitek X6-34 Megapad XVII (Saitek http://www.mega-world.com/Mx-634.htm) and its drivers don't work in W2K. and custom control settings only allow 4 fire buttons (It has 8 fire buttons)is there any way to get around it or get updated drivers or something?

i ahve the same controller and cant find winxp drivers anywhere
it has 8 buttons (6 and the 2 triggers) a throttle and a d-pad and control stick winxp only lets u choose upto 4 buttons... mabey in the registry you could change it to 8 buttons? anyone have drivers or know a similar controller that's drivers would work (any controller with the same buttons should be fine)

tried looking at radioshack?
Software - You can use your gamepad with Windows 95 or 98 and any PC
compatible software that supports a gamepad.
saitek usa drivers page.

but you need saitek germany for this pad

which inturn links you to mega-world.com to get the actual drivers.

Enjoy.

Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
