    Exclamation The new Ad-Aware Champion!



    13770 Objects found!! origionally there were 8 processes identified, but I had to run Ad-Aware as a "run once" line and have it run on bootup as it was near impossible to open ANY program let alone an adaware scan.

    Most of the objects were porn dialers, and the customer was using a dialup modem.. I would have hated to see her phone bill...


    Before this, our shops record was a mesely 850...

    Man...that can't be real!!! It would take like a week to clean that thing!

    I hope you didn't have to check off each one. I had a machine with over 700 bugs and I had to go and check off each box.

    nah..just right click on the first one and choose select all

    adaware(IMHO)

    I found (on not all but a few user's computers) that after installing adaware that the AV would not cooperate afterwards and one computer could not log into VPN. After removing adaware there were no problems.

    Sounds like a crappy AV and VPN solution...

    Damn! I thought a friend of mine whose kid found a porn site and ended up with 136 various turds on his WIN98 box was a lot! How did you even manage to get the computer up???
