    DivX Compression

    To Anyone that can help,

    I have been recording some shows off the TV with my TV card I have been recording them in DVD Standard Play Quality so I have heard about this Divx compression so I am totally new to this what software would I need to Compress my shows to fit on a VCD cost is not an issue and what software would I have to purchase. Anyone who can help me would be great.

    The above are all good suggestions, But I'm not sure you know what you are asking. VCD use Mpeg1 not Divx. You could encode them with Divx to save space and play them on a computer and even save them to a Cd but it wouldn't be a true VCD.

    If what you want is a VCD that will play in a stand alone DVD player you definately want to check out www.videohelp.com first. You should probably go there anyway as there is a LOT of info there for all things video...
