Hello Everyone, I myself am having trouble finding eMachines drivers and especially Motherboard Manuals.
Your drivers though I believe are available through intel. I do have a recovery disc for the 600. Don't know if it will work with yours though.
Good Luck!

if it's anywhere it will be here
There doesn't seem to be a 420 tower listed, is it another model type?
As for the recovery disk... no, you won't get that except maybe from Ebay. What you do is buy a copy of operating system you want and install that.

While it may not be helpful directly, you can obtain a copy of Everest here:
http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=everesthome
I use this program to detail more specifics about what hardware is present in a machine I can't find out any information about. It can sometimes help me locate drivers from other websites that can help by searching for the sound card type instead of the machine model number.

You could also try going straight to the motherboard manufacturer.
Google P4VM900-SATA2 (this is the motherboard ser No.) made by Asrock. They make the Emachines 420 motherboard and as the sound/graphics etc are all built in then they should have the relevant drivers.
Hope this helps
