Need some help on issue
Im currently bidding on a item on ebay, for the first time.
Thing is, I have been emailing the seller about this item, and here is a reply that really worries me, and he thinks he can sell it and get more for the item I guess with the software but theres a catch. (oh umm its a tablet pc)
"Hi-
I installed all of the software, and copied the CDs to the hard drive. The
programs are all fully licensed through my company, which owned the laptop."
Isnt this illegal?

Smells like bad sushi.
Ask eBay their opinion if you're still unsure.

This sure sounds like one of those deals. I don't claim to know how much responsibility you should have concerning illegal activities on ebay's site, but you can sure vote with your wallet.

Don't buy it as others have said, why not e-mail him and ask if he knows it's illegal? He may not.

Report him to M$. Try to collect a reward. Put reward money towards a different PC.
...might not happen, but it's worth a shot.
