Two hot deals from Dartek.

A mobo, case and cpu for about the price of the cpu alone.

Good to hear about Soyo. I might've considered it if it wasn't for their rep. Also, it looks like part of the $90 in rebates is two rebates on the case. I very much doubt that even if they do pay, they won't pay you twice for the same thing. Also, I really don't trust WD drives anymore, otherwise I would grab that deal. Show me a good buy on a Samsung.

Not a chance. Every drive of theirs I've had that was bigger than 3GB died. For an idea of the spread, that's a 5.1GB (its replacement died too), an 8.4, (2) 20GB (one of those replacements also died) and a 120GB. The 120 was out of its 1 year warranty. Feck WD. I'm buying Samsung.

I've had a 2, 8.4, now 120 no probs, ok i lied the first one failed and the dork at the service center said he'd made a "Backup" of all my stuff and then he put in a new hdd, then he suddenly lost all the backup and my data with it. Stupid, i even had an argument with a guy from that shop and finally got him fired.

Could Very Well Be,
I Live 15-20 minutes from the tigerdirect/global/dartek warehouse in naperville illinois.
Several of my buddies work there on the outlet sales floor and warehouse.
I know theres a couple different locations 1 being in florida.
But regardless,They market these rebates for soyo and other suppliers, And SOYO,syntax and several others have a terrible reputation for NOT paying rebates. I Honestly question if they EVER Pay, Seeing as Ive not gotten a single rebate associated with tiger, Nor has a single friend or relative
EVER.
Interestingly the employees of tiger arent even sure who owns them month to month,, Sometimes they are told systemax, Sometimes they are told tiger owns it all,, Last month it was Global. LOL
