First, I realize this is a Linux thread, but Be doesn't have its own here...
So i want to try to put BeOS on my crappy P166MMX laptop, as it supposedly runs decently fast on old hardware. However, it doesn't have a freaking BIOS option to boot from CD, only floppy or hard drive. Anyway, i downloaded a boot disk that supposedly works, but it won't fit on a floppy. The deved_1_1_boot-1.img.zip i downloaded contained deved_1_1_boot-1.img which contained BOOT.CAT, BOOT.IMG, AND FLOPPY.IMG. BOOT.IMG is 1,474,560KB, which won't fit on floppy at all. The other two files are 2048k and 0k. I've had no luck installing from CD using a win98 boot disk, as it doesn't run any of the files on the CD (from windows i can only see copies of those files mentioned above, which won't run from the windows floppy). I'm using a burned copy of Developer Edition 1.1.

Computer:
Dell Latitude XPi CD M166ST
40MB RAM
P166MMX
2gig HDD (no OS installed right now)

So, any ideas of how to either get the image on the floppy, or get the CD to install without one?
