    Multimedia controller driver

    I recently upgraded from windows ME to XP on my computer that is made by Tiny Computers. Everything is fine and going great apart from my audio playback which is distorted and poor quality. I have downloaded all the updates for my soundcard drivers and also all the available windows updates (one of which was specifically for the type of soundcard i have). When i look in device manager there are yellow question marks next to "multimedia controllers" and "multimedia video device" and it says that no drivers are installed for these devices. Where can i get windows xp compatible drivers for these controllers. Is this what the problem is with my audio playback? My computer is 800mhz, 38 GB hard drive, 384 RAM and the soundcard is onboard Creative Audio PCI (ES1371, ES1373) WDM. This is driving me crazy as it seems like something very simple.

    I have deleted your post in the 2000 forums - it was a duplicate of this.

    ]near the bottom of this page you will find drivers for 1373 wdm for 2000 - they should work under xp fine.

    download this, unzip it and run it It will tell you about your motherboard and provide links to drivers. If you need help finding the drivers, post the result of the aida32 in a reply to this thread. We can then help you further.
