    Keyboard not working...

Recently i transferred the motherboard, cpu and everything else into a new case. but then when i turn it on it comes up with an error...

now i think i may know what the problem to the error is but to solve it i need to get into setup.

but my keyboard isnt working. i think that i may have set the pc up wrong in the new case. could that stop the keyboard from working?

    help needed asap.

    thanks

First off, does the bios screen come up on your monitor? If it doesn't, it motherboard should beep in a certain order. Those are codes for what doesn't work. Certain beeps are for memory, processor, and so on. If you do get a bios boot screen, can you turn the num lock or caps lock on and off? If not, try unplugging the mouse and just have the keyboard plugged in, reboot, and try it again. And I know this is silly but... Make sure you are plugging in the keyboard in the keyboard port not the mouse port. (Done that before... )

If it's a usb keyboard, and legacy usb support is not enabled by default in the bios, this would also be the problem ... is it a ps2 keyboard?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
