Agreed..it's important, however, there are those times that a mate can't due to a medical reasons. So, the companionship plays a key role.

We just have differing views about it.

They're not even in opposition because they are in different spheres of perspective, IMHO.

The fabric of space-time would fold in on itself and whimper away into nothingness if I did that, sorry.

I still have a video of some of those episodes from the Tracey Ullman show.
If only you knew what's inside of me now,

Talking Now ... Here's a concept ! Lets get back on topic !

So the last 'vaguely sensible bit' I can find is ..

This, although it has not the pretention of being anything official, would tend to disprove the "common knowledge" that "almost everybody cheats on their spouse", I would think.

I have to admit I'm rather surprised by the wide margin of difference.

..then we had a slight asside for the folks who don't watch the simpsons ...
So what does all this tell us ? Well it tells me that folks here at windrivers will lie about anything ! or perhaps nerds are loyal ? or perhaps nerds have so little chance of 'pulling' that they have to remain faithful ? Or perhaps many who might have been really truthful didn't vote due to the 'inelligancy' of the question ? But more likely, it says that 20 votes made out of I dunno how many views of this topic is hardly representational ..

Statisics say (& yeah I know all about 'lies, damned lies, & statistics' {there's also things said by politicians to add to that !!! }) that 'adultery' is in one way or another responsible for aat least approximately 50% of marriage breakdowns - but this figure isn't now reflected in marriage stats as ..
..adultery was probably as common a practice as ever but that people were choosing not to use this as a reason for divorce because it was too time-consuming & expensive.
    Mmmmm !
