TechZ wants a Domain Name and Web Host
OK, i guess i have to get a credit card first,
Now I need a safe, reliable and not too expensive web host and i need to register a domain name.
I was hoping for some personal experiences, with the recommended hosts.

These guys are great. I know them personally and have seen their operation first hand. I also have web space with them, and they are pretty cheap.

I know it's not the unique, alternative ISP that everyone normally strives for,.. but I just use plain old mainstream Earthlink.net for my web hosting needs. $20 p/month, 200mb storage and never had a problem so far.

Powersoft Hosting - Good, professional service, good support too, they don't mind when you ask them something that turns out to be your own dumb fault (been there a couple of times).
I'm in charge and I say we blow it up

Been using these guys for a few years now. Only $ 60 per year and they have just about everything you can imagine, PHP, MySQL, unlimited emails, etc.
If you take domain registration through them too it is only $ 5 extra.
After you have an account set up then any subsequent domain hosting is at a discount of $ 40.
Great and very prompt support too and I have never had any down time with them.

Hi there,
I suggest to get your domain name seperatly then a package with your hosting. Hosting companies come and go and you might have lots of trouble getting your domain if that ever happens.

For hosting, well, my friend and I run a hosting server.

ICD Soft seem really good and since emr has used it I think I'll keep that as my Best CHoice for now, also none of these sites seem to accept Maestro Internet Credit Cards, i dont want a CC but I need one to pay for the domain + hosting.

I think it is included, but you may wanna email them. I got my deal with them when I traded some database programming for a gift certificate, basically $250 and I got 1 domain space.
