PikaOne 8X DVD +/- RW Drive - Speed Issues
I was wondering if anyone could suggest a possible explanation as to why my DVD writer is only burning at a 2X when it is an 8X drive?
I have installed the drivers that came with it and updated the Firmware drivers but I am still unsure as to why this is happening. Does anyone have a possible solition?
Thanks,
James

Yes, dvd writers are very picky about the media. Nero info tool will help you out on this.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Do you know any reliable ones? I have always used Imation and have never had any problems....just they dont seem to do high speed DVD writing.
