    Question Direct modem to modem connections

    I would like to be able to call a friend up directly and connect to his computer but I don't know how to get the modem to answer it. Anyone know how this is done? I use to be able to do this in DOS but I have a win modem and am unable to access via DOS.

    You need to have some software package or something to do the answering...what are you trying to accomplish?
