is this power supply good enough? (specs inside)
I have an old Compaq power supply, I think its only a 145 watt. I was wondering if it would be powerful enough to power these parts and these parts ONLY.
Gigabyte GA-7DX+ motherboard
AMD 2000+
512 DDR RAM (2100)
A really old 15 gig, 5400 RPM drive
Geforce 4 Ti4600 (it doesnt have its own power connector, thank god)
an ethernet lan card
a CD ROM drive (not a burner)
and im just using the onboard mobo sound chipset
no fans are installed in the case.
Is 145 watts gonna be able to handle all of this, or am I way off. Sorry I dont know how to accurately gauge these things, will i damage anything If I try to use this power supply?
