Unhappy Can't put new appointments in the calendar

This is the message that I get when trying to put a new appointment in the calendar.

Could not save file item. the file F:\Documents and Settings\Jil Babbitt Local\application Data\Microsoft Outlook\ outlook.pst could not be accessed. Data error. (cyclic redunduncy check).

What do I need to do???

First thing would be check under My Computer and make sure you have an F: drive mapped.

Welcome to Windrivers, as edball says check that the F: drive is mapped. Although this sounds more like a corrupted pst file. Not exactly the same as your error but have a look at this article from Microsoft...

Also check that the pst has not exceeded 2 GB and that you have more than read only access to the drive it is located on.
