    Can't connect to any shares

I have a server (Windows 2000 Server) client (Windows 2000 Pro) setup and one of my client PC can't connect to any share, but can logon to the domain without problems. I get the following error message as soon as I click oon a computer sahre: "There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request".
From the Event viewer I get a couple of errors:
    ID: 3034
    Source: MRxSmb
The redirector was unable to initializa security context or query context attributes.

    ID: 5788
    Source: Netlogon
Attempt tp update HOST Service Principle Names (SPNs) of the computer object in Active Directory failed. The updated values were '<UNAVAILABLE>' and '<UNAVAILABLE>' . The following error occurred:
The RPC protocol sequence is not supported.

    ID: 1000
    Source: Userenv
Windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for your computer network. Return value (59).

Other PCs can see its shares, but I can't access any of the other PCs. I have tried deleting and making a new user name and computer name on the server's Active Directory. I have changed the computername on the client. I have tried entering with another username and still get the same problem.

I managed to temporarily see all shares. Instead of joining the domain I created a workgroup with the domain name and I can see all computers and access almost all shares.

This is a temporary solution as I really need the PC to join the domain.

This possibly sounds DNS'sh. Make sure your dns settings are correctly pointing to your server, try a nslookup on your domain from the problem computer. Then do a "ipconfig /flushdns" and "ipconfig /registerdns" in a command window.
    To each his/her own.
