temp programs
I want to overclock my computer. I have a P2-99 board with a 450 MHz P3 processor, I am running windows 2000. I want to get a program to monitor my processors temperature. I tried Mother Board Monitor it doesn't support my board. I tried MB Probe but when I open the setup it says "Unable to open giveio.sys driver". I tried Asus Probe but durring the installation it says "cant find Lmcontrol Procedure". Are there any more programs? Does any one know how to fix these errors?
thanks.

Although this product will most probably never be updated anymore, I still like it.
Motherboard Monitor 5: http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=204
That's what I use instead of Asus Probe.

It doesn't officially support my A7N8X-DX either, but using the simple instructions in the ReadMe file it still worked.
Try it, you may be surprised.

when I run MBM the splash screen come up and an error appear behind the splash. The error says "the driver didn't load". the spash screen just stays the same and the program doesn't load. I have to use task manager to end the program.

Does that board have a temp monitor in bios?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
