ryb.exe, virus
ryb.exe is a running process on a Win xp box.
Have tried to identify same but no luck yet.
Can anyone tell me what this is?

What kinda system do you have...sometimes unknown exe's are needed to run certain hardware that Dell or HP made. More likely is that it's some form of spyware that uses a random name...I would end it, download SpyBot 1.3, update it, and then scan your computer.

The only thing listed on Google regarding that exe is a reference to the Klez H worm..so perhaps an online virus scan is a good idea

With my thanks to InTheWayBoy & geoscomp for your replies.
Yes!, I called buddy this A.M. and NO he does not have a spyware/adware/malware scanner installed.
I forgot to mention it was on a friends system I noticed ryb.exe when I was helping him setup a multilink modem config on the weekend.
