DVD an CD slow reading and writing

I have a DVD writer and CD writer, which worked quite nicely for a while. But all of a sudden they are reading and writing at 0.30 to a max of (reading cd's) 2.6 speed.

    Welcome to Windrivers spihunter

    What chipset is your motherboard?
I also noticed that DMA is off for your dvd - this may have an effect.

there is also a new version of aspi and you may need to update nero aspi as well.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
