Hsing Mother Board video prolems
My computer is only displaying in 16 bit mode and will only go to the the smallest settings (600x480) and i can't figure out how to get the setting to adjust to true color, i've tried the settings tab and it just dosn't work, it won't slide, i used everest to grab some info and this is some of what i got:

Welcome to Windrivers Goatimus
You haven't loaded the video driver ... oh and that's 16 colour, not 16bit - if it were 16 bit you would not be complaining
go here and scroll down to On-Board VGA Driver section, you want the file for SiS630/630S/630E/630ET/SiS730S chip
Download it, unzip it and then go into device manager, click on the pci vga adapter under display adapters, click the driver tab, click the update driver button and follow the wizard - browse to where you unzipped the drivers so that windows can find them.
It will probably want the 98 disk as well, and it may ask you for a file it cannot find on the 98 disk - point it to the unzipped files you downloaded. Often 98 gets confused about which files are where.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Great the driver worked, it did take a little time to get it working but i finally got it going, the coumputer i have is a fixer-upper but hey that's my hobby, thanks again, you rock, now i need to get PCI working...
