hp a600n no soundcard thingy
it says i dont hav a soundcard, i just whiped my harddrive, and yea, now it says i dont got a soundcard, ive been readin all these other post on how to get drivers, ive been to the site, it tells me to install through device manager, i was in thier, i was lookin at the sound audio game controller thing, i checked everything, everything was working properly, no red or yellow marks so i dont know what to do...anyone help me??

When you reinstalled your OS, did you use the Hp recovery cd, or did you install from an XP cd?

from the windows xp cd, and it just has no volume control on my computer, and when i open windows media player it wont play anything, it says, no soundcard is present, when i first turn on my comp it says system recovery...should i try that>?
