SanDisk Mini Cruzer USB 2.0 256mb memory stick
Looking for help.
My new SanDisk Mini Cruzer USB 2.0 256mb memory stick (part no. SDCZ2-256)worked fine for a few weeks on various PC platforms. Plugged & Played perfectly on at least 10 to 12 different machines throughour my place of employment.
A couple of days ago I stuck it in a brand new E Mac. The Mac froze, now my memory disk isn't recognized on any computer. There aren't even drivers available for the model number I have. Alledgedly it is supposed to work on any Windows XP platform without a driver. At least that is what SanDisk's site states.
And yes, I properly removed it in every event except when the Mac froze.
Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot,
Bob Provost

The mac probably tried to format it
If you look under computer management in xp, you should see the sandisk, but it can't read it.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
