Keyboard Mod

Well after about 2 years my keyboard space bar failed me. Some of you may remember I had ran a EL Stran light under the keys on that keyboard. So I figured I might as well do it again. But this time I got a black keyboard and removed ALL the keys. So I could paint the under side of the keyboard a white color.


wants that was all done it was time to install the Light Which I have no pictures of. Since the keys sit different on this keyboard I had to sand the outside keys so that they would have their Natural up and down motion without hitting the light. When all was done and the lights on The keyboard with the white background looks pretty cool.





Over all I do like this mod a little nicer because all the keys work a alot better this time. But I am still disapointed in the light transfer. The EL Light just does not put out anoth directional Light.

Edit how does one post pictures with the img][/img] and have it resize the image?

Thanks Gazzak for resizing the images.. At one time I had thought there was a entry you could put in the [img] tag that would size the image to the size you wanted. But that may have been a older version of the board.



and Thanks freddy but I think there is a size limit on the avatar.

I did see that mod which made me think I need to post my keyboard mod. I like how that one turned out and I have a few Ideas I may try on the next Mod from that Site.
