Internal modem? Exactly which model?
What level of Juno do you use. They go from free to $20.
I have the Juno Gold service; Mail dials a differernt number & almost always will complete. Most of the time I need to dial in several times before I'm allowed a port. some kind of dun 650 error [can't connect to sever{no cheap ports available}]

Juno Gold is what he uses .... it is a internal USR modem part number 005687-83
this system for some reason with juno installed looses the DUN (dial up) settings and responds with no modem installed .... as soon as juno is uninstalled it appears back under the modem control panel ... this modem dials out fine and has been tested with Aol as well as a local ISP. I can't find any help on JUNO site and there is no problems like this listed on Microsoft site.
Any ideas ??

is the modem installed per USR directives; I don't remember that one. I use Juno Gold also
I think that a re-stall of the modem may be in order. Com3/Irq5 is what we used to like to put the internals on.
Good Luck. I'll try to get back soon.
Find out: current driver; where com/irq/address if winmodem where it is installed. find out what the bios is set for as far as the internal coms.

I would definately try re-installing the modem after installing Juno - the Juno installation might be overwriting a DLL that is required for the modem to work. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
