    Werid Problem?

I am using windows XP... I just reformated but this problem would occur before I reformated...

    What happens is...
I will be using the computer doing whatever Chatting Email Games etc.. anything then it will make 3 or more beeps...

Then mouse and keyboard will stop working but the computer would not freeze because whatever I am doing would keep working just the keyboard/mouse would not work!

I have waited awhile see if it would work again and it would not.. tired diffrent keyboard/mouse and made sure the keyboard/mouse was plug in!

I have no clue what is wrong and if somone can tell me how to fix this that would be great!

This is usually a device conflict, but since you said you reformatted i cant see how it can be unless you installed something after you formatted. These are usually really tough to figure out. Is the radeon a new vid card? or did it come with system? Also a bad stick of ram can cause this. If you have 2 sticks try pulling one out, and testing it the system with less ram. (Vice versa). If you do a search for "mouse and keyboard stop working" on google there is tons of info from people that have your same problem. Would be alot easier if i was there because i never seen that before. The 3 beeps or more are bios errors usually, but since your system is up and running they cannot be.

Also remove the case side and see if it is a heat issue.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

if this still happens after format and reinstall of xp i suspect its gotta be hardware. Did you use a factory reload CD or windows xp cd? you say three beeps or more. does it vary? Either way this is not normal. Your pc spec looks pretty new. assuming you are still in warranty i would get in touch with the supplyer asap.

    good luck
