CdRW/DVD drive is no longer recongizing blank CDs
Ok. I had a virus (bkdr_prorat.17) and it screwed up my stuff. Ive gotten almost everything cleaned up. Except now my cd drive doesnt read blank cds. It does everything else fine. Everytime i click on the drive with a blank load in, it tells me to insert a cd. It reads everything else like data cds, audio, and dvds. I have a sony vaio laptop pcg-nvr170. I tried to aspi layer and that didnt work. What should i do. thanks for the help.
Sorry my hardware is a Matsu****a udja730 DVD/CDRW

Driver Terrier
Welcome to Windrivers limak
Have you tried completely uninstalling nero rebooting and then reinstalling the latest version for your Nero 5 or 6?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
