need to find h/p drivers
I have to reinstall an o/s on an h/p pavilion 514a pc but i have no drivers whatso ever. i went to h/p's website found the drivers page according to the model i have but it says they are all driver updates. i have no drivers at all so they won't work hey?

Yeah, it is common problem for many of HP systems - no drivers, just only updates... HP/Compaq assumes what you have recovery partition on your harddrive (or recovery CDs) and you can recover your OS from that hidden partition or do recovery directly from CDs...
By the way, did you try to press F10 during boot? It should start complete OS recovery from hidden partition... (if you haven't destroyed it yet)...
To start recovery, that partition should be set as "active" and non-hidden...
You can see if recovery partition is still on the harddrive by using Partition Magic utility from PowerQuest...
If for some reasons you don't have that partition or you don't want to use it, you can use original drivers from Intel for chipset, IAA (Intel Application Accelerator) and buit-in videocard.
