Sound is not working properly.
Hi !! TechZ ,
I'm going to double post this since I forgot about my original post. I meant to post my sound issue as a reply and not a new post. Sorry.
I'm having trouble with the sound card driver. It looks to me what ever I downloaded and installed, the sound from the speakers is awefull and srachy. It doesn't sound right. Can you direct me to the right onboard sound card driver for my - HP Pavilion 04 P8626A-ABA 522C 30000TG101MAMBO

Not my speciality(dont have one), but will try my best. HudsonSmith actually replied to your other thread. Maybe because its integrated audio it sounds bad, get a reasonable pci audio card, low cost, better performance.

Driver Terrier
Mysons, you have an nforce based board.
If the drivers at HP still produce a scratchy sound, then you should try the drivers from nvidia.com (the makers of nforce).
If the driver package lets you install individual parts of the unified driver, you should also reinstall all the motherboard drivers as this can have an effect on the timings between various devices which can result in things like scratchy sound.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
