hp psc 1210 (Installation problems)
I'm having some problems installing this printer-scanner-copier....
When the setup program reaches the System Requirements checking, it gives me errors at:
Operating System and USB.
I'm using Windows 2000 Pro. SP3
It shows another error message, it sais:
usbready.exe has generated errors and...
How can I fix it?

Welcome to WD Aleperez .
Has other USB devices worked before ?
Its possible you may only need upDated drivers ,
so can you tell us what PC you have : is it a DELL or Gateway and Model number ,
or if built by someone ; Motherboard Brand and model and all that .

You can find Win2000 drivers & downloads for your HP PSC 1210 All-in-One here. Looks like fairly recent updates.
You might also want to check out An Error Message Appears on the Computer While Installing the Software in Windows Hmmm...looks like your particular error message is not listed.
You might want to read up on Resolving Installation Problems for USB Connected All-in-One Products in Windows
You might need to completely Uninstall the previous attempt and then re-installing same. Uninstalling the HP All-in-One Software
Or, Installing and Uninstalling the HP PSC 1100 and 1200 All-in-One Series Software in Microsoft(R) Windows
Most USB devices require for the drivers to be installed before physically connecting the device.
NOTE: Do not connect the all-in-one to the computer until directed to do so by the installation software.
Lastly, Setup Posters & Reference Guides.
Good Luck!
