Bomb explosion in Paris
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/3725520.stm
Bomb has exploded in front of the Indonesian Embassy in Paris. The above report doesn't identify the cause of the explosion but I just saw on a French site that it has been confirmed as a explosive device.
I wondered when it was going to kick off in France.

Thankfully nobody was killed.
Unfortunatly because of that fact, I dont think this story will get much coverage even if the explosion was set by terrorists.
I hope I am wrong, and if it was a terrorist attack this will be a wakeup call to Fance that terrorism can hit even them.
Would be nice to get a wakeup call where nobody was killed right?

But since France, Russia, didn't help the US, you guys should be safe from attacks of this sort. It will have to spread to other countries, and with more frequency, before everyone wakes up...

Looks like no fatalities.
As to a wake up call for terrorism in France, this certainly isn't the first bomb over here. Back in the late 90's there were several bad bombings on the metro system and in the street, high speed train lines were targeted although no explosions earlier this year and back during the withdrawal from Algeria bombs were getting chucked into full café's.

Three bombs in Israeli holiday resorts in Egypt too.

Only way the world can be a lovely place is if humans can work out their differences peacefully, however this is only wishful thinking.

Yes, I forgot about those. Thanks for the reminder. That whole situation sounded really messed up.
