Can't Login to Yahoo Mail
I have a user that can't login to her Yahoo mail from her machine. I can login to my account fine from her machine. She is able to login to her account from any other machine with no problems. I ran spybot and ad-aware. Check for virus and removed temp files and cookies. I set Explorer to defaults.
When you click login after putting in username and PW it just churns for awaile and then says page cannont be displayed
What could I be missing?

Try going to IE tools, Internet Options, Settings, and then view objects. Remove anything related to Yahoo (Yinstaller, Yadd, etc...) along with any other entry that says anything other than installed.

There was one that said it was broken, two said not installed (i think). I removed them. Two others remain. They where not related to Yahoo. The problem remains.
It's really strange that I can login to my account with no problems, and the users account works on other machines.

At this point I would be looking for some kinda password management...either the stored IE password is wrong, or maybe a password manager is automatically over-riding whatever you type in...

what about a messed up keyboard???
her password is different then yours and the 'p' key on the keyboard is shot sorta thing?
give a kungfu finger jab to all the keys to make sure none is sticking.
try typing in notepad ''the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dogs"

Unfortunatly, it didn't work. All the keys work properly.
I'm going to try have the user login from another machine and change the password. Then try it again on the offending machine. I know it's a long shot, but I am out of ideas.

Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
