Half-Life 2 goes Gold!
VU Games sent out a press release announcing that Half-Life 2, developed by Valve Software, has gone gold with a planned retail street date of November 16, 2004.
The global anticipation for Half-Life 2 has reached unprecedented heights, as consumers around the world mark their calendars to buy the game at retail on November 16th. The Half-Life 2 product will include Counter-Strike: Source. VU Games will also release a Half Life 2 Collector's Edition that will include Half-Life 2 in DVD-ROM format, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life: Source, a free limited edition t-shirt, and a Half-Life 2 Prima strategy guide book.

I cant wait until the 15th when they announce some manufacturing problem that is going to delay the release another year. On the 17th they are going to announce that they are going to make the most of this delay by changing the game over to a new engine.

Actually, its for work, we get new MS keys for our campus agreement one time per year and it just so happens we just got the new key, so instead of re-imaging like the other schools my company owns, I just use a key changer. Much faster this way
