    Device Manager...Mass storage Device Problem

    Hello fiends and thanks for looking here at my problem. I have and old Pentium 3 500 MHz PC which I have loaded with windows XP. Normally when I load XP on anything there are no problems, but this time in device driver I see a yellow question mark by
    "Mass storage device" my question is what is mass storage device? and how can I find the driver for this? I am not sure what motherboard this machine has but do you think its a chip set issue??? Please help before I see if the PC can fly..by chucking it out the window.

    I think you are on the right track with the chipset being involved.

    Try using the latest drivers for your motherboard and see if it solves the problem.
