    Google Vs dogpile

    Hey guys,
I was scanning firefox vs IE thread. I am 100% for firefox. Nothing against MS but IE doesn't even come close for all the reasons mentioned here!
Anyway, I wanted to know how everyone else feel about google, I have been using dogpile and love it. Google is dead for me, except their desktop serach tool!
    What do you think?

Nope. Google is still the best in terms of current search engines.

google's fine if you you're looking for something to buy in America. For most of the stuff I search for (engineering/technical), I still use Altavista.

Google has been the fastest, and most accurate search engine I have used to date.

On occasion I will use others to determine if they have caught up, but for the me it's google.com hands down.

Google for me as well. And I LOVE the desktop search. Man I use the heck out of the windows search... and wait, and wait, and wait... not anymore!
Don't ask me... I just work here.

    Google for me also.

The Google Desktop Search was uninstalled from my work PC after I searched "password" with it.

Scared the heck out of me.

My home PC still has it though.

hahah, did it actually come up with some of your passwords? How would that even be possible? Unless you saved your passwords in text documents or something...I dont get it.

Why would anyone name a search engine after the rectal excretement of a canine?
