    How do I force network logoff with Group Policy?

    This is a hospital setting so patient information privacy is a top concern. Docs and nurses often logon to a terminal or workstation to review a patient chart and then walk away leaving the information on the monitor visible to anyone who walks by. How do I force a logoff after a period of inactivity?

    All of our servers are Win 2003. One of them is a Terminal Server that services about 40 Wyse Winterms. Total of about 150 PC's in additiona to the terminals.

    Not quite logoff .. maybe use the logon screensaver & change the inactivity time out down a bit like so - kbalertz ?

    As far as terminal services goes, from the control panel of the terminal server you can set it to disconnect if idle for more than X number of minutes.

    Don't know the exact path, but it's something like Control Panel->Administrative Tools->*something like terminal services configuration*->then go to properties of the rdp-tcp connection and tweak out the settings.
